Fuji X series cameras and lenses produce great images but to squeeze the very best out of them they need careful capture or RAW sharpening. I do this in Adobe Lightroom and the settings I use are in the table below. The first three are my "go to" settings at base iso. Tack Sharp and especially Hyper Sharp introduce artefacts when used on the wrong kind of image; they especially can make skies noisy so be warned and use with care.
The basic settings were devised by Pete Bridgewood http://petebridgwood.com/wp/2014/10/x-trans-sharpening/ and I have adapted these to make further presets which I use when editing. I very rarely need to go outside of Lightroom for sharpening or indeed for any editing.
